Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy offers the opportunity to gain clarity about your difficulties and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions and your own expectations. It allows you to pause and focus on yourself and your challenges so that you can see them differently and anew. The main tool is conversation and an open, non-judgemental relationship in which you will feel safe. My role as a therapist is to be fully present with you, to listen and to ask questions whose answers may help you know yourself better and find relief from the pain and distress you bring to therapy.
How can I help you?
- Emotional distress (anxiety, depressive mood, feelings of sadness, loss of energy)
- Disrupted self-concept (problems with self-confidence, feelings of inner insecurity)
- Identity difficulties
- Difficulties forming connections, communication with others
- Relationship problems
- Coping with a demanding life situation or crisis, adapting to change
- Chronic stress, burnout
- Loss of meaning in life
- Support on the path of personal development
I believe every topic matters and only you can judge its weight. The themes listed above are only a guide.
Individual therapy usually takes place once a week, or once every two weeks. Less frequent sessions are also possible, but this no longer constitutes systematic psychotherapy.
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
Please arrive on time, but no more than 3–5 minutes before the session begins.
